New desks

Last night a few of you mentioned that all the group study desks were occupied at the city library. We did some shopping this morning and have just installed eight new desks. Enjoy and best of luck to all you University and Tafe students!

New Sci-Fi and FAntasy Books

New Sci-Fi and Fantasy Books
A collection of recently received Sci-Fi and Fantasy books are available at Hurstville Library. Highlights include:
Jennifer Fallon's The Palace of Impossible Dreams, Kim Falconer’s Strange Attractors, book 3 in the Quantum Enchantment series, Ian Irvine’s The Destiny of the Dead, book 3 in the Song of the Tears series and The Wingless Boy by Jay Amory.
The list continues with titles by authors Traci Harding, Anne Bishop, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Melanie Rawn, Stephen Baxter and don’t forget Steven Erickson’s Garden’s of the Moon from the popular series Tale of the Malazan: Book of the Fallen.
Come in and check out this great display which includes a fabulous series of retro 50s posters.

Personally, I just like it for what it is. Not to mention also for the informative nature of the subtitles!
